PART 1: Vocabulary & Grammar
모집하다 [mo-jip-ha-da] / 수행하다 [su-haeng-ha-da]
Vocab:모집하다 means to recruit or gather people (e.g., 자원봉사자를 모집하다). 수행하다 is a formal word meaning to carry out or execute tasks (e.g., 업무를 수행하다).
내성적이다 ↔ 외향적이다
Antonym:내성적이다 [nae-seong-jeok-i-da] means to be introverted/quiet. The opposite is 외향적이다 [oe-hyang-jeok-i-da] (extroverted/outgoing).
N + -이나/나
Grammar: Used when the speaker feels the amount or quantity is much higher or more than expected. (e.g., 20만 원이나 썼어요 - I spent as much as 200,000 won!)
V + -(으)ㄹ 정도로 / -(으)ㄹ 지경이다
Grammar: Expresses an extreme degree or extent. (e.g., 쓰러질 정도로 피곤해요 = 너무 피곤해서 쓰러질 지경이에요 - I'm so tired I could collapse).
V + -더니
Grammar: Used to express a contrast or change between a past fact the speaker directly observed, and a new current situation. (e.g., 어제는 맑더니 오늘은 비가 오네요).

Korean Election Rules (선거 규정)
Society: Voting is managed by the 중앙선거관리위원회 (NEC). Voting hours are strictly from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If you are busy on election day, you can vote in advance during the 사전 투표 (Early Voting) period.
Workplace Stress & Salaries
Society: The #1 cause of stress for Korean office workers is 대인 관계 (Interpersonal relationships). A monthly salary is composed of 기본급 (Base Pay) + 수당 (Allowances for overtime, weekends, etc.).
Coming of Age Ceremonies (성년식)
Culture: Traditionally, when boys turned 20, they tied their hair into a topknot (상투를 틀다 / 관례). When girls turned 15, they used an ornamental hairpin (비녀를 꽂다 / 계례).
